Mother Teresa was visited by a gentleman at the “House of the Dying” in Calcutta. This man, who wanted to find a clear vision for the rest of his life, asked Mother Teresa to pray that he would “get clarity for the future.” Mother Teresa said, “I will not do that… Clarity is the last thing you are clinging to and must let go. I have never had clarity; what I have always had is trust. So I will pray you trust God.” Here’s what’s cool about passionately pursuing God… You never know what’s in store for you. Better yet, you’re comfortable with the fact you don’t know what the future holds and you don’t care because you TRUST God.
